There are numerous food options available in the Mississippi Delta. Below are a few recommended options for you and your volunteer group. For more information on food in the Mississippi Delta, please contact our AmeriCorps VISTA at 662-325-0267.

Lodging: $5 or less/night

Locations such as these are built on relationships between the facility and the AmeriCorps VISTA on the project. We strive to keep the relationship positive and controlled, so if your group is interested in taking a trip to the Delta and would like to work with a church or rec center on our list, please contact the AmeriCorps VISTA on the project to discuss the group size and accommodations needed so the best facility may be contacted

Commerical Hotel/Motel: Price Varies

If your group is choosing this option for housing, we suggest you work out the community service and cultural aspects of your schedule and then find the right hotel/motel for your group based on your location during the week. These places can be found through travel websites or our AmeriCorps VISTA can help locate a few options for you in your price range.
